i've been trying for years to stick to some sort of healthier diet, but really, i could care less...i try to focus more on getting enough exercise than eating properly

i do eat much better when i'm at home, because my dear wifey looks after me and doesn't let me eat so much of the stuff i love to eat but that is bad for me

i'm working on staying away from the red meat, but i like it...a lot

one thing i do is drink a lot of water...even though the scientificos recently said they were wrong about he high impirtance they had previously put on water...fact is, i've been dehydrated before, and don't like it much

i've often considered giving vegetarianism a good 6-month run, but don't have the willpower to start

pretty sad, really

jenni,

I can relate to that color thingee. I too like a nice palate (bad pun) of color on my plate. (Maybe it is because I use color so much in my art as first a weaver and now a beader.)

A beautiful sweet potato with that intense orange, a luscious red vine ripened tomato, earthy browns of grains, the vivid greens of the greens (there are so many greens in nature).

I am very tactile too, I like finger foods and a big ass napkin. Hah!

I have to admit, my favorite snack is tortilla corn chips and salsa. I make a killer salsa with pomegranates grown in our yard. The sweet and tart together is well, yummy.

Knip...I'm afraid I don't exercise on purpose. I do go up and down stairs about a dozen or more times a day. Take a walk to see what I can see but never for the purpose of exercising. I used to do that, a lot...my joints won't stand it anymore. Now I eat my way to healthy.

Knippers, you big Goof...

I suggest you start with a big salad, easy on the dressing, and eat as much as you want.

on the otherhand you can also eat your way to unhealthy and exercise until you drop.
