There are dogs in my house.
I miss my cat. He was a cool cat.
13 years then he died.
Why are there always dogs but no cats?
Why does everyone I love die?
I’m going to sell my house and move south.
It’s too cold.
That’s all I know even though I know nothing.

Too cold. The dogs of winter. I guess they're just trying to stay warm too..

I have a problem with not saying anything.
I rent my bedrooms to people not dogs.
The people bring dogs without even asking.

Asking the dogs,
“How’s your new year going?”
ROUGH!
“Will you be here after the sun goes down and it gets...?”
BARK!
“Why do you interrupt me? Will you be here until spring, throughout the entire....”
WHIMPER!

Without asking you if it's okay? How rude of them. (Maybe they need to find another place to live...)

Yeah, really. No Dogs should be a condition they agree to beforehand.

Can Kane and I come and live there? We're getting sick of the cold....

Permission was asked at one point and I said ok for that day. They must have thought it was an overall continuous ok? lol... anyway it’s clear that approval would be needed for a dog to live here and additional rent would be charged. This is temporary dog sitting... for which my tenant gets paid. Earning money helps pay rent to me. I just get surprised when I hear barking when I haven’t been asked if it would be ok that particular day. It’s all ok. I just need to speak up and clarify how it should work so I don’t get startled and I’m aware and prepared. I love dogs but I sure miss my cat.

I’m lucky to have housemates who are now paying rent on time and helping around the house. I should count my blessings.

And yes, Sasha, you and Kane can move in when someone moves out but I need a pet deposit and rent is $50 more per month for Kane. Looking forward to having you here!

homeless dogs for homeless people

Southern cites have a swelling homeless pop you lation in winter.

I see them on street corners with their dogs,
Like a glimpse into a parallel world
the world of the homeless,
hard to describe what the metaphysical homeless blues feel like.

Nothing boring about Texas in the winter\
