Palm Springs has this old movie star feeling
Cowboys and Indians
Hollywood smiles accross the miles

That's what I love about desert, naked rock and sky. I guess the rest will work itself out. And yes, the Cali desert always seemed a little too close to LA for me, but what did I know?

the good stuff doesn't require money per se
unless you have to drive to the desert and fork over
a little cash for gas, but in general all the stuff
I love the most does not have a burly biker at the gate
checking ID's....there is more woods in Maryland alone
that I will never be able to traipse every trail...enjoy
the simple road...a little paint...a little walk... eyes open
