Snow on Hills

Post by the mingo » April 18th, 2018, 12:26 pm

snow on the hills this morning
came in the night
and passed over

the road is bare of it
just black & wet
as if it had rained

but the hills hold it,
wear it on display
showing off
unwilling to let go
Doll, you may have found a place of rest but I'm still on the trail.

winter, she won't let go
has the death grip on your balls... 8)
If you do not change your direction
you may end up where you are heading

And when they finally let go, it will seem too sudden.

Oddly, "spring" has had the same trouble on the W coast (usually if the weather's shit on one coast, the other coast is basking). No snow, but it's just been 49 degrees and dull wet gloom gloom GLOOM almost every day. EVERY EFFING DAY for month after month after month...

Except yesterday & today. Sunlight returned...
