dry as a gulch

Post by saw » May 31st, 2018, 3:22 pm

words dry as a gulch
the deserted territory in my head
cacti and joshua trees
nothing baby-ass smooth
nothing lush and super green
my thoughts are seared transmissions
rusting cadillacs and thunderbirds
that have flown the coop
only pigeons from hell and skulls
not a drop of creativity
only thing remarkable
my sunburned tongue...sere lips.
If you do not change your direction
you may end up where you are heading

A thirst of desperation’s grasping
Throats full of song
Listening to tumbleweeds flythat little girl sigh
reason is over rated, as is logic and common sense-i much prefer the passions of a crazy old woman, cats and dogs and jungle foliage- tropic rain-and a defined sense of who brings the stars up at night and the sun up in the morning---

I always think that people have many -super dark moments - I see that the list is growing longer - drug addicts just do it slowly-
