bull run and squat

Post by mtmynd » June 11th, 2018, 11:33 am

Eden cries lonely
recognition blinded
by depths of why's
spitting hot fumes
into tornadic changes
masking truisms with
chaliced sparkles as
naked priests run
from their honesty

the overlords suspended
above the heads below
weeping from their fear
wiping soiled cheeks
with the pages torn
from Gideon's words
in hopes St Nicholas
would soon arrive
to bless the wounds

Repent! Repent!
as if words alone
will heal the hurt
superimposed like
bleeding tattoos
of hopes and memories
might save the soul
and oust the mind
conjuring their lives.

[breathe deeply, Tex Ritter, your name is alive]

We're not being honest with ourselves, about a lot of things, about our 'future' on this rock. Naked, running from honesty... Some punkrockesque lines, Tex aside. Cec the Zen desert sage, punkrockesque (at times)... "Bleeding tattoos" is nice.

"wiping soiled cheeks

says it all....in a masterfully creative way
If you do not change your direction
