Drawers

Post by creativesoul » August 21st, 2018, 4:18 pm

In the guest room
With the private bath
Things were pink with ribbons
Her framed paintings
I brought her daughters broken heart before her
And she just did not notice

So it was easy to convince myself to detach
Not snarling in a viscous debate of differences
But to just go through the motions of honor and respect
More for myself I guess

I squeezed my self so tight I could not take a shit
The mother lode
Gotta Get her out of my hair

Every day I know
That what I did

Was show her I loved her
One last time
reason is over rated, as is logic and common sense-i much prefer the passions of a crazy old woman, cats and dogs and jungle foliage- tropic rain-and a defined sense of who brings the stars up at night and the sun up in the morning---

The only time the towels in my house matched was before Hurricane ininkithe scissor and nails and the hammer
All the only thing I have in common with glamour

Iniki, that was such a weird thing... (This can't be happening on Hawaii, can it?)

If you do not change your direction
you may end up where you are heading

Doll, you may have found a place of rest but I'm still on the trail.

Love and respect is hard to reach when it runs into that sort of resistance almost like unnecessary "noise"... Sounds like you've found the right amount of detachment to get there.

In the drawers were the dreams of a young child
Sea shells and wooden dolls
Hotel shampoo in the medicine cabinet
But nothing that will soothe
Not a excedrin p m nothing

Yes Hawaiian history speaks loudly as pele takes her place back-
the land was tired- thousands of people with no real idea of aloha trampling on sacred shrines
One couple got married at the top of wailua fails on the heau and both were dead within a year
Not to be taken lightly
The kapu
Forbidden
One of

Lifetimes ago it seems now - Gordon and Charlie and mike Kenney were building a surf shack out in kalapana- the old lava was fertile
Mother Earth

Those were the days/ black sand beach - millionaires pond- pa- hoa- ya had to go there on bob Marley
S birthday
I swear that they just stayed on that land watching the plants grow
Then they went to town
The girl with 3 braids
Never forget
Then having to give the $ for the Sale to the Chinese landlord of my shop -in Hanalei- yeah he had a judgment againest this hippie girl with s bikini shop
Inside out
Ching young village

That would amazing if Ching young finally got eaten by the hurricane Gods

But the memories of my children growing up there- and I guess I grew a bit myself
In Ching young village
Although I
Miss the @ old hanalei
The tradewinds
Sweet surf
Children laughing
Maybe Ching young village is a monument
To days gone by
