“Have you heard of Murphy’s Law?”
“Yeah, but I can’t remember what it is. What is it?”
“If something can go wrong, it will go wrong.”
“Right! Have you heard of Cole’s Law?”
“No. What is it?”
“Thinly sliced cabbage.”
Have you heard?

Re: Have you heard?
ouch! This cannot go unchallenged......
One cold Moscow morning, a man and his wife are out for a stroll along Red Square when who do they see walking toward them but the notorious Rudolf Petrovich, a powerful and much-feared member of the Politburo, so passionately Communist that he was known by his nickname, Rudolf the Red.
"Good morning, Comrade," the man calls. "A fine morning, is it not?"
Rudolf scowls at him, hands thrust deep into the pockets of his heavy coat, his kepi pulled down almost to his eyes. "Fine morning?" he snaps. "What's so fine about it?"
"Why," the man replies, a little taken aback, "the forecast calls for a light dusting of snow - and Moscow is so beautiful after a little snowfall."
"Bah," Rudolf says. "The forecast is wrong. We will get rain."
"Oh, I don't think so," the man says. "I'm sure it will snow."
Rudolf glares at him. "And I say it will rain!"
Before her husband can get in any deeper with the irascible Rudolf, she tugs at his sleeve. "Come, Pasha," she whispers. "Leave it alone. Rudolf the Red knows rain, dear...."
