I was about to graduate from Air Force pilot training when this all happened. Even then I was not insulated from it, altho I think most of mt pilot classmates were. Somehow it filtered through to me. I was aware that I was in a difficult situation, that I was coming up against The Order, and was not happy. After Kent State and then Jackson State (barely a whisper in contrast to the overwhemling anguish over Kent), I decided to fly cargo airplanes.
After a year of thet, realised that gun running for The Order was not the way for me, so refused duty.
It is ongoing.
