plumage on a dark disk of neverland

empty bottles speak volumes
of yesterdays dreams
yet leave in their wake
waves of regret
words were spilled
and thoughts digested
the mind circles ideas
like vultures await death
the freshest kill
the most rewarding
as we gargle away the memories
waiting upon cliffs vacant
with our charms screeching
thru the sunlit void below

perpetrate the ingrate
the decisiveness has split
the rainbow in sheets of
wonderlands pages soft-footed
the reminders talk of pasts

delay the image that portends
the coming of souls negativity
and break ceremoniously the chalice
that once touched the lips of pain
the core embellishments rooster
their approvals as homer roars his name
