Stalemate Indifference

[mtmynd]

Fathom the depths of mind
as it strokes the midnight
tumultuousness of grinds,
whirling the gravity pool
suspending spirits clothed
in hooves covered by despair;

Nitrous filaments igniting
tundra loneliness draped
with bodices strung with tendons
marking silence with perpetuity;

Six graven images masked
by spiritual fecundity breathe
like siren whores strapped
to shores licked by tides
rising thru temptation's pressure
conjoined in stalemate indifference.

Ahem… ho humm.. desert life
in a steel drum pounding,
pounding between silenced ears
the freight trains clickity clack
there is no coming back, Jack

Just pack it all up, jump!, dump!,
it all goes away before the eon arrives
dusty quarters pickin' up the breeze
the wheeze of ol Parson Jones
praying over those broken, dead bones

Can you stand it any longer before
you go bonkers from the smell of death,
from all that steam rising, rising up
until we finally conclude the madness
of the roaring 2020's puttin' down
all the sound of the rebound agin'…
and agin' when will it end…??
