Here Comes Another One

Post by mnaz » July 17th, 2020, 3:08 am

Jesus, another tired old hippie.
Bent over, defeated, disgraced.
He couldn't conquer the land,
nor face the animal truth.
He couldn't fight the war,
shell shock the rock,
splatter the flag.
For his tribe.
For his tribe.
The sum of
naught.

this moment cries
for a charismatic figure to emerge
someone to calm the rage and quell the fears
doubt they will be a politician
they are hiding in their basements
If you do not change your direction
you may end up where you are heading

they are hiding in their basements
and in their bunkers
