Something to look forward to

surgeon sez I'm doing well
but said the scar tells little of the story
he reminded me this is major trauma
be cool, nothing over 10 pounds
for 3 months, don't try to cheat
rib cage wired back together, but bones must fuse
before you can do a lot of things, be cool, be cool

take care of the healing process
being cool, even more than usual

Lookin' good! The smile speaks volumes - "I feel like shit, but I'm doing great!" And that's where you should be!

92 and humid here today - I think all my hiking will be virtual....

A friend told me yesterday after my "ommmmm" response to a long chat: "sí...en estos tiempos o nos volvemos gurúes o nos volvemos totalmente locos"... maybe both or none, who knows! . I´m a bit late for the prayers but not for hoping you all the strenght & also the flexibility available amigo!!!!!

thought I'd update my progress
I hiked 5.3 miles a few days ago with my daughter Eria
no trouble at all....no pains....lungs and heart working well
legs still a little behind, but nothing to worry about
so lucky for this second chance to enjoy autumn in the woods
