The body

There is a song about what is connected
To what The body commands attention

The dog is here watching in horror
That her master is not a super hero

My little whispers from one organ to another
I am grateful to be able to pee
That I did not have a heart attack
That in spite of my screaming feet
I’m alive
The belching the bloating the hairs that grow on my face
I might as well be a monkey

My teeth speak with my sinus
There is a disco inferno
Dancing on my nasal hairs
-1979- New York City

Those days etched in my nose
Then as if dead and numb

I had to have a spiritual awakening
Some of us insist on having more than one

Makes me smile when I think of the champagne buckets
Twirling lights
Endless dancing
Tiny Tim at studio 54

Now the mere idea of subjecting myself to that energy
Gives me anxiety
I think of the black outs the loss of time
1986

It was a career in disconnect
I did not know a thing about love
Yet in this crazy world
I found it
Or love found me
All those soft cuddles
And all those puddles of tears and fear
Grew like weeds in my mind

Love stole my ego
Robbed and naked
I learned how to love : yet again

You gave me that
Even more
reason is over rated, as is logic and common sense-i much prefer the passions of a crazy old woman, cats and dogs and jungle foliage- tropic rain-and a defined sense of who brings the stars up at night and the sun up in the morning---

Wandering in and out of a long life thus far, can reveal so many unexpected details...... 8)
If you do not change your direction
you may end up where you are heading
