She came to my house the other night to bring me flowers from her garden, a bottle of skinny girl wine, incense for healing, and a card with a beautiful note thanking me for my creativity…. (I’ve created logos and flyers and programs for her company shows for quite a few years)

It’s hard to believe I’m 69.
It all has gone by fast.
Hopefully I’ll get to live
Through the 70s again.

I hate being late for a party
or a jam to celebrate
but I've been distracted
by my life
which can get in the way at times
of actually acting out
stuck you might say
as i ponder where I fit into
the schemes of things,
immobile
unable
to write, to string words together
the mini stroke mumbled things
I'm far from useless
still paint
hike less at the moment
but still game
ready for the next challenge
i hope You are as well
because this aging thing is so full
of surprises.....
so anyway
