get movin'

Post by winddance » May 27th, 2024, 2:08 pm

got to get out more
before I grow
roots on my butt
I'd rather learn from one bird how to sing than teach 10,000 stars how not to dance.

I just finished a journal entry bemoaning my foster companion's tendency to redefine "walk" as "stand in the same spot smelling the same leaf" - only instead of my butt, the roots were growing from the soles of my shoes. Great minds... (My hair had also grown another centimeter, and I'd shed a full layer of skin cells.)

Ya all good
reason is over rated, as is logic and common sense-i much prefer the passions of a crazy old woman, cats and dogs and jungle foliage- tropic rain-and a defined sense of who brings the stars up at night and the sun up in the morning---
