so these chats I'm talking about
take place inside my head

my inner voice is rather friendly

we make exciting plans together
like which chore to do next

I often stumble when a genuine person
speaks to me in the grocery store

sometimes I stutter which i never do in my mind
I think I just need more practice

I've caught myself talking aloud to myself in the car lately too....when I become aware that other motorists are watching i pretend i'm talking on my phone

yeah it was great when I had babies, you could pretend you were talking to them.
