thankful indeed!

for waking up this morning
for water still flowing from the taps
for remembering how to follow a recipe even if it does require every bowl & pan I own
for every bowl & pan I own
for laughter & music
for studio 8, its lovely proprietress, its creative space, and its gracious inhabitants who tolerate my buffoonery
for the miles I've traveled and however many more I'll get to see

giving thanks for my family and friends and always so thankful for this place.
I'd rather learn from one bird how to sing than teach 10,000 stars how not to dance.
