nectarines are nice but they've had all the flavor bred out of them in favor of making an attractive product for the storeshelves

The best peaches I ever ate grew on two bushy Alberta trees in front of my home when I was a kid. They were small but had a perfect peachy taste. They also make terrific ice-cream. I love homemade peach ice-cream.

jud-e - i'll have to go with the peach, altho the nectarine is mighty fine, that durn peach just drools like no other - down my lips, my chin, and onto my forearm as i wipe those sweet, lovely juices into my own flesh... ah! peachy!!

The only draw back the peach has for me is it's fuzz....yuchhh....
I like my peaches clean shaven and quite nude, peeled so that all the sweet and juicey goodness is exposed to my tongue......yum!
