Hello hello? Knock knock

Post by Doreen Peri »

Is anyone home?
Knock knock! I knocked
on the door but nobody
answered so I came in and sat down
and I’ll just stay for a while
waiting for you to return.

You’re probably out for a walk
in the woods or somewhere
by the river or maybe you stopped
off at that little cafe in town for a drink
or coffee or a bite and chat with a friend.

I left the door unlocked
for you. I’ll just stay here
in case you want to come
in and say hi when you get back from
wherever it is you are now.

You’re always welcome here! ❤️

Terrific work Doreen...poignant while mysterious....I love it

thanks doreen
I'd rather learn from one bird how to sing than teach 10,000 stars how not to dance.
