More ICE Killings
More ICE Killings
Blows my mind how some people are still defending this. Un. Real. (If only it weren't real.)
Re: More ICE Killings
in my mind the common thread is Fear
those defending ICE are afraid of everything
immigrants, homosexuals, being empathetic their shadow
you name it they are scared shitless
they live in a state of constant fear
which is a paralyzing neurosis

the death of empathy is the birth of barbarism
Re: More ICE Killings
I keep reading:
"They're just doing their job."
"Don't interfere with them."
"Just following orders."

Re: More ICE Killings
it's ironic, is it not,
that those we most need protection from
are so often the very ones tasked
to do just that

Re: More ICE Killings
I have a hard time accepting that this is happening in our country.
Re: More ICE Killings
It is happening. And I don't believe for a second that it will stop in November - but I fervently hope that it will disrupt the machinery enough to allow repairs to start. I don't have a great deal of faith in the traditional Democratic leadership, though some of the newcomers seem promising; and if the choices are ineffectual bumbling vs. naked fascism & shameless venality, I'll go with bumbling.
