Who Goes There?
Who Goes There?
two old men on the rail trail
approaching
one with a camera around his neck
one pedaling a bicycle
one enrapt in the ambience -
the flowers
the birds
lines, colors, light and shadow...
the other by the motion -
the crunch of gravel
the wind in his beard
kinesis, exertion, breathing...
they meet
a hand raised in salute
"Howzit goin'?"
"Good, you?"
"Fine, thanks. Have a good one"
two comets briefly meeting in the void
exchanging a bit of energy
during their respective journeys
