Logo I designed for a 250 year celebration

Post by Doreen Peri »

I designed this logo for Rising Phoenix Performers, a nonprofit choral group. They had a show a few weeks ago for the 250th US anniversary.

nice! clean, welcoming portal to what looks like an organization as interested in having fun as in making a difference.

That is really excellent Doreen...the flowing movement of song, the color balance, the print/script.....so appealing

and the Rising Phoenix group looks like just what we need to brighten up, to lighten up.... this dystopian world

very nice balance
I'd rather learn from one bird how to sing than teach 10,000 stars how not to dance.

Thanks, everyone! I appreciate your kind comments.

I love being part of this group. I used to dance with them several years ago. (They collaborate with a dance group for their variety shows). I’ve been working with them for maybe 8 years.

I designed the RPP company logo, plus all the show logos on the Shows page. I also design 2 flyers, a postcard, and the show program for each show. They do 3 shows a year. I enjoy the work very much! I hope one day to dance again with them.

Yes, Roy, their business model is to bring the performing arts to the community — and so it’s definitely fun! They make a big difference in the lives of seniors who not only perform with the group (it’s a teaching choir) but also watch the performances. It’s a joyful experience for everyone.

They also have a smaller traveling performance group that performs at senior centers all over Fairfax County in Virginia.
