Mazzy Star

Hope Sandoval, lead singer of the group Mazzy star has the most beautiful voice, so soothing to my soul......yes, I said soul.

My faves,

Flowers in December

Fade Into You

Into Dust

Give them a listen I don't think you'll be disappointed.

Sigh
I used to walk with my head in the clouds but I kept getting struck by lightning!
Now my head twitches and I drool alot. Anonymouse

The night the Chinese restaurant burned down, Sylvia Tyson
Sitting here writing on the back of my Chinese Zodiac place mat, I am passionate, eccentric, complex life, abundant health. Choose a rat or dog late in life. To top it off, the fortune cookies came with a one word Chinese English dictionary. I now know two words in Chinese.

one more Chinese meal with an old friend.
She knows I am going to take off as soon as I can
I wish I could remember the lyrics to that Sylvia Tyson song.

Mazzy star light I like the name, as in everything looks a little mazzy in moon light?

Did I hear you say soul? Robert Johnson, what is the soul of a man, can't remember the lyrics. My soul gives me the blues these days. Nothing wrong with that, sip a little whiskey, listen to america's redeeming qualities, dam did not mean toget political here. Since george sobered up I have decided to drink more, somebody has to take up the slack. I been saving that pleasure for my old age. Geez good night. Second time I said that to you tonight.

the spirit of music, no idea. I use to love to watch the elephants waltz. They loved Strauss. going to sit here and obbessively click on on doreen;s bachbeethovevariations till sleep takes me. Dream about dancing teddy bears if I am lucky

My bach boom box
fix it later, I hope

The spirit of music indeed! Just loverly!

Music. Music serenades me through all my moments in life.

If not music then the sweet sounds of nature will more than do.

Pretty sure there's music in heaven....

in fact I think that's where it was invented!

Sylvia Tyson is very good. Canadian eh. So of course she is! :D

Can't help you with the lyrics for the Chinese Restaurant song but I just learned that she wrote one of my all time favorite songs, "River Road".

"So here I go once again
With my suitcase in my hand
I'm running away down river road"

Now go listen to a little Mazzy starlight.....if your country music soul will permit. :)

It beats me mousey, I remember someone in a live performance saying he was going to sing a country song. It was about the country of Romania. Too stupid about music to put labels on it, just noisy here iwth the planes trains sireens, I listen to too much music. Texas is a world unto itself when it comes to music, like a seperate grid,

enjoy your music mousey1
