Sunflower Fairies and Sour Puss Delights

Post by iblieve » August 9th, 2005, 4:46 pm

Sunflower delights faced to the light
in my garden of dream filled delight.
Dancing fairies in my imagination
turn to the Echinacea in fascination
and the lemon thyme pixies are sours pusses
always causing mischief and making excuses.
They don’t cross my tiny dragon
he’ll scorch them when he comes undone.
In my garden I can let it all go
becoming liquid in my thoughts that flow
off into a kingdom of my own design,
an escape for my tortured mind.
I plant my dreams with seeds in fertile soil.
I lose myself in this pleasure toil.
I wake each day and look to see
what new blessing lies there for me.
In my magical garden of delight
I know the creatures will dance tonight
leaving their foot prints in the fairy’s dust
and in the morning I will find their trust
written in the sparkle of the sunflower’s eyes
enough to make any dreamer cry.

Readin this, my lips just kept curving upward,

(not to mention a few chills of reader's delight)

I always thought I would see her face, and now I have
their faces are like flowers
and that james taylor song used to sing about flying machines in pieces on the ground.

I could cry for
I could lay down my life to save hers

but I knew why she left
so it was easier for me
and nietzsche told me to make my life a garden
so that is why my weeds sprout in doreen's garden

thanks
Strange how music heals, a mystery to me, I have no music in me, I have down's syndrome with music. But I know it heals it works for me, I played that james taylor song a lot after she died

Car crash san marcos pass, she would never have been there if it were not for me.

infriendship

a quiet and wonderous piece, iblieve... makes me want to garden once again, but the drought inhibits the scenes you have so deftly described.

thanx for sharing this (and others!)...

I try to not edit (not very much just typo') . my posts after I write them because the mind that comes after me, may see something I don't see.

I was looking at a grave, and the beauty of those flowers made me feel at peace I stole this from doreen it is titled 13
I believe in the grave
necessity of feet and meter.
without them, we would topple
face forward into mudpie supper,
grit between our teeth.

2.
there is no way to edit
my eyes from former titles
I gave myself during eras
of blindness
