i just picked this cd up yesterday - how beautiful! this is the shit. this is the stuff i've been wanting. what a gorgeous, perfect snapshot of an era. this is rock'n'roll from a woman's standpoint. it's dark, it's heavy, and it's truthful. and gorgeous all at once. i wanna road trip to this disk. it's a driving disk. it makes me want to drive.

it does however, have a most incredible spoken word track called SPELL. and this, certainly, is the mystical mental orgasm of the whole record.

Arcadia, start with the album called HORSES and grow from there. Patti Smith helps me be more of who i am.
