Music: Commercialized, Inevitably

Post by e_dog » August 28th, 2005, 9:35 pm

the corruption of music has rendered it such that no one can escape. music has been destroyed by commercial interests and thus it is all , with few exceptions, crap.

of corse ground zero in this epidemic is commercial, radio store walmart music. but even the supposed independent and homegrown stuff is corrupted. the end of the sonic world is nigh. we are sinners.
I don't think 'Therefore, I am.' Therefore, I am.

The raw creativity and artistry of it does seem to be squeezed out, increasingly, by the ever-expanding, insidiously homogenizing corporate tide....

But they told me that rock'n roll will never die....

"Music is everybody's possession. It's only publishers who think that people own it."
