This is interesting ...

ug krishnamurti said ...

It is terror, not love, not brotherhood that will help us to live together. Until this message percolates to the level of human consciousness, I don't think there is any hope. - UG Krishnamartie

and look what's happening, what's coming out in the news right now ... (emphasis added by me)
With the economy stuck in the doldrums and the national mood in a deep funk, Merkel's top foreign policy aide, Wolfgang Schaeuble, predicted that the alliance was "doomed to succeed," with both parties reaching agreement out of fear that further conflict between left and right would lead to economic and political collapse.

working together towards the same goal
out of fear
and out of need

"Terror" - fears - disasters & survival issues
do seem to be bringing us (this world) together out of necessity where "brotherly love" seems to have failed.

Interesting? I suppose there is hope Deb, in the fact that tragedy brings people together.

It saddens me, that it takes such literal life-threatening tragedies for this to happen.

Will those that freeze this winter be considered tragic or will they be considered low-lifes that "made their own bed".

I see hope in the fact that it seems like Americans are stirring out of their stupor. I hope it is in time to salvage some of the justice we had before the criminal bushko operation took over the country right in front of our denying eyes.
