Night of Reprise

Post by WIREMAN » November 30th, 2005, 10:50 pm

the cream came back
rolling & tumbling
toting that spoonful
of diamonds,

ten years after i
sat in the hot
tub writing my
ass off,

tracks before me,
wide open percussive
spaces,

places where
i've never been,

ginger grey, rolls
jack sounds the same
eric is GOD....

the old sound new,

35 years man, 35 years
since buddy said,
"creams
on man!",

goodbye no mo..........

me in a hot tub
once again, soakin,

them harps crisp
as the women i've
lost........

Tens Years After
The Gold Rush
Wish Bone turned to Ash
Jerry Garcia
Gratefully Dead
I think it was the drugs
(abstinance kills)
should never have went to rehab.

Cream played New York
And a million old soldiers
never faded away
but the dream died
as flowers and mary jane
were traded for expensive suits and cocaine
Ozzy's right
screw em all
I'm taking the Crazy Train
to hell,
but I remember,
oh I rememebr with delight
Frank Zappa singing about
Titties and Beer and Dirty love
on a hot summer night
before I was old enought to realize
everything dies
even heroes become ghost.

Loved this one my friend. "C"

"them harps crisp
as the women i've
lost........"

great lines!

You musta seen the same show I did last night on public TV ... Ginger, Jack & Eric ... man o man, what a great concert!

Where was that recorded and when, I wonder? I rarely watch tv, but I was down on the couch and decided to see what I can find and low and behold, there they were... the Cream! Delightful!

Jack's voice is purer than it was 35 years ago... Ginger's still the king of the drums, and Eric is probably the best blues guitarist ever ...
