He says, Stay
with me, be a stone.
A column at the bedpost,
box spring frame
for every day is new loss, new gain.
Cover me with the sheets and
tell me, It is best that way.
He takes an umbrella
to hide his soul
He finds an old jacket
to keep it all inside.
He wants to go somewhere,
maybe write a letter,
take a picture, far away
while the pot is boiling over
and the phone crows like a fever.
He says, Burn this perhaps
and nothing will happen, but it might.
Is it a curse? it is a star.
This is nothing, this is new
This is false, or halfway true
Give me all your lost things,
All the pieces and the blues.
I just want to build another one
and push it over onto you.
He doesn't know their game,
doesn't know how to play
He can't read the notes,
they're nothing to him
And the walls they say exist
are nothing to him.
And the dances in his head
are nothing to them.
And he finds it all
so simple
now.

...takes me to Proverbs 27:5
Its suicide is brilliancy admired
and singularly lost within the mass
of constellation faces twinkled bright—
some pin-point fire some million lives away
from where its light damp drops of sound
descend. What else is star but suicide?
What use is cold eternity without
a chance for light or touch— those things about
which stars ignite as mythic deicide?
For shorter lives of brilliancy they wound
and burn their inner strength like brightest day
till morrow fades in weaker lived-out light.
Far better: honesty’s rebuke will pass
with beauty more than hidden love unfired.

Thinking about the star of litkicks
not a starlet
but a star
she was searching for the boy with beautiufl hands
you are truly a beautiful brother to me
for people like her, I am grateful you exist.
now could I interest you in some Ngeran Oil stocks? But please keep this business confidential.
I wish I could tell you why I liked it. Give me a week and I will think of some rational sounding reason. Bottom line it made me want to do back flips

Thanks, guys
I was looking through my files when I came across this old poem, which was one that I was never satisfied with, but this time I realized that if I changed a few things it could be pretty good. Glad I did it right
joel -- that was perfect and fantastic
tinker -- What's a few Nigerian stocks between brothers?
Btw, I been wondering -- is that "tinker" as in one who repairs brass and copper objects, or "tinker" as in Scots slang for a member of the working class? Or is it neither?

tj is the reverse of jt, which is my initials. He may have something to do with the mad girls love song. I hope so. I did a cut up ot the plath poem and the Hester of the Scarlet letter. The one that wore my high school sweater. Maybe you don't know but I figure with a writting style like mine
my other sock puppetts like stilltrucking and the others are common knowledge. Weird I still think of you as fp sometimes.
