Do any you cats dig bowling?
I seem to be really good at this thing, thats called bowling.
Something about grabbing a 16 pound rock and hurling it at ten frightened pieces of plastic lined up like everyone bad memory in my head and unable to move from the path of my anger.
Last Sunday I bowled a 267. 7 strikes in a row.
I'm glad a joined a league.
I really like being applauded for throwing something thats soul purpose is to destroy something else.
Bowling is really poetry.
Spontaneous and full of aggression.

Whacking golf balls? Now thats alot of fun. I never played. But I love driving ranges. It's a fuckin shitload of fun to lay that little ball down and then whack it hard. Sometimes I can make it go straight, most times it just goes anarchaic. As for Lrod on a course? This would be a monumental day in full need of photographic proof. Mark, at least you get the idea. It's fun to hit something thats not alive.

gold is great! Do they have the beer girls that drive around in golf carts and beer in the states? I love golf--at the start everone was like:
"geof you are a natural!!!"
but then by the third time the beer girl came around I had driven the cart into a huge rock! I did not score well...

heh heh

one of my mates is an accidental genius at pool
one time it was his turn to break. he shot, the ball took off, flew over the triangle, landed, bounced off the table, landed on the other table where a game was being played, messed the other game up and put one of their red balls in.
so then the two guys turned to face us and he gave them his "I'm sorry, please don't eat me" look.
I was in tears.

Duck pins or nine pin bowling. No one has ever bowled a perfect game. I remember an interview with Jim Brown. God what football player. He was prtty much the whole offensive team for the Cleaveland Browns back in the fifties. Give the ball to brown over and over. The image of him running down the field with tacklers just hanging on for dear life. Well he had about every letter you can get in college sports. Someone asked him what is the toughest sport. His answer was, for stamina it was LaCrosse, for brains it was golf

Cecil my mistake, I think he compared Golf to Chess not brains. Maybe he was only speaking of the sports he participated in.

Cecil, you bowled a 270? Thats pretty fucking good, brother. Why would you quit? You're good enough to get a perfect. I'll get mine. I just started getting into it this year, and it seems I've quite the knack for the sport. It's really not that hard. I just visualize. I know my hook is going to be the same every throw so I just aim for the same mark. I will get a perfect game. If I can get 7 in a row, I know I can get 12. You should get out there and throw another game sometime. Perhaps one day I'll be in the southern states and we'll go have a game......

Bowling is the main pass time here in Wisconsin. You'll find a bowling ally in every city and small town here!!!!

ten four dave, but mostly ten pin alleys
I heard a show about a couple who were travelling the country going to every Duck pin bowling alley they could find. Still a few left. How about there?
