I know what you mean.
I have very few correspondents.
I get email that offers me a bigger penis and I don't even have a penis.
And drugs. Drugs to make you happy. Drugs to make you sexy. Drugs drugs drugs. Same drugs advertized on the 7pm news. But without a perscription.
And free money somebody wants to send to me from overseas as long as I send them some money.
And assignments for my to-do list.
And special deals from Staples and Pizza Hut and Blockbusters.
50-75 emails a day.
It's like dehydrating at sea without a drop to drink.

I am a telimarketer--I sell people a govenrment grant for 300 bucks and I have another job I sell them for 349 there--people my age really think it is a good deal? Sad how the shit we think is junk mail is other peoples (what they think) salvation--but then again what does money mean when you die? What I mean is, well I don't know, some of this sht spam makes me think "what did i do to deserve this, and why does everyone think I am stupid enough to belive this?" I am really thinking about pbuying in to some editorial service, I don't know though? you know? Fuck!!doreen peri wrote:Oh, and stock alerts.
How the heck I got on that list, I'll never know.
All I've got to invest
is stress. And a house
that's a mess.

I used to be a telemarketer. Wrote a poem called "the Telemarketer's Lament" once. Gotta find it. At the time, I thought it was pretty funny.
I didn't sell anything though. I worked for Purple Heart when my little boy was a baby so I could stay home with him and work from home and then when my girl was a baby, I made called for a Multiple Sclerorsis group. Easy money really and all I had to do was schedule a truck to come by to pick up their old clothes or furniture. They gave me $1.50 a pick-up or something like that. Lotsa people wanted me to call them every month. I kept good track of my lists. Didn't make a fortune, of course, but what money I made helped feed my family.
Do you work in a boiler room call room? What kinda govt grant can I get for $300? I could use a grant.
But, I thought grants were the govt giving you money not the other way around.
Yeah, the email thing's gotten ridiculous. I think we need to change our email addresses every month or two just to keep runnin from the spammers.
What type of editorial service are you thinking of buying into? Sounds interesting. Tell me more.

no no--not a boiler room--legit compeltely I think?--I don't ask questions--I don't think you want to buy the grant though--you can get the same thing for like 45 bucks or something--it is not ilegal to over charge is it? I wish it was...doreen peri wrote:I used to be a telemarketer. Wrote a poem called "the Telemarketer's Lament" once. Gotta find it. At the time, I thought it was pretty funny.
