Remember Billectric?
Whatever happened to that guy? Did I ever tell you guys the story about the time my uncle built a boat in his basement?
I am looking for a home for my thoughts.

That's another blast from the past, I'd be interested to hear the latest on that guy too.lovingpenfull wrote:Whatever happened to that guy? Did I ever tell you guys the story about the time my uncle built a boat in his basement?
Today must be international nostalgia day.
Heyy, thanks for that.judih wrote:Bill's fine, working, writing.
For those of us who click into litkicks to see who's saying what, he often comments on others' comments.
hey orphic
judih
I used to be an occassional visitor over at Litkicks, I can't remember if I posted or not, a few years ago, && I was browsing the net today and saw a few old Litkick names and just started to wondering about where are they now sort of stuff.
Yours was a name I seem to remember from my days there too, unless you're a different Judih.

hi a,
not a goblin, but orphic. okay.
so, orphic, what did you call yourself at litkicks?
take your time, no rush. life is slowly turning over.
hey mtmynd - hope you're doing well.
don't mind me, i'm totally exhausted from my first day back at school after a 4 day break. 4 day breaks are x-tremely habit forming. i definitely need another one.

hey, Judih - four days.. for daze
good to daze out for weeks at a time
why do we have to wait until then...?
that 'then' that never seems to arrive
the older we get until we're to old to daze...
but i'm different... i daze away into the craze
away from the system that i plugged into
one time for many times... now time is mine
time for an empty mynd... to empty/fill/empty/fill
in harmony with time that i once never had

I'm afraid I really can't recall.judih wrote:hi a,

For the last four or five years I've done the majority of my work on the internet, sales and promotions, for my company, and a great deal of that is done through social networking, at any given time I am usually a member of in excess of 1000 websites, forums, groups or web communities, most of the time just to deposit the occassional link (see my signature) and to make a few brief contacts before moving on.
Of those 1000 + sites I will tend to linger at 4 or 5, and become a "proper" member, because the subject matter interests me, or because of the particular feel of the community, the good atmosphere of the people, or the high quality of the work, posts or input, so I would hazzard a guess at having been a member of maybe somewhere between 20 to 50,000 sites, && because of that I am more than a bit hazy on past usernames.
Most of the time I keep a list (on my computer) but whenever I stop visitng a site, or community, knowing I will never return, as I'm sure would have been the case with litkicks when it changed/began to change && cease being the warm, spontanious, artistic && thriving community that it was, I delete the information, so as not to have my data base overly long and complicated.
