an S8 collaborative
How about S8 coming up with it’s own collaborative book, like LitKick's "Action Poetry" "October Earth" etc.?

Hey Deb!
Originally, my idea was to start a small publishing company and publish chapbooks for writers I know on the net. But after several years of thought and research, I realized I not only don't have the time for it but I certainly don't have the other resources necessary like money and a staff. So, then I came up with the idea of publishing their work on the net instead and that's what the rest of the site is about but I don't seem to have the time or the staff for that either.
One day, though, I think it would be a great idea to have some sort of print document. Your sparking some inspiration here.... Maybe a coffee table- sized book with both artwork and writings and an accompanying CD in a pocket in the inside of the front or back cover. Sounds pretty cool, huh?
I'm not too hip on POD (print on demand) which is what many people use to self publish. And truly, I'm not too hip on self publishing but maybe we I could put together a manuscript with submissions from S8ers and submit it for publication and see what happens. If we couldn't find a publishing house to publish it, we could consider self publishing it and getting a small run... 1,000 or so... printed up but then there's the cost. It cost money to do that.
I'd love to do the layout for such a book.
Hmmm.....
Wonder which publishing houses would accept such a manuscript for review?

Well Hell! Let's go one step further. We can open a Studio 8 room on PALTALK and just go live. Everyone can watch anyone with a cam resite their favorite poem, story, skit or whatever an artistic sort may want to share. I can even see a weekly vairety show starring all the Studio 8 personallities. Look out Jay Leno! Make room for "The Doreen Peri Show, starring Lightning Rod, Sober Duck and The Studio 8 Players."

And because I'm personally familiar with D.Patrick Miller and his publishing experience, work and company, he’d be the one I would recommend …
