Soloman Dier

Post by Sober Duck » February 26th, 2006, 1:34 pm

Soloman Dier by Richard Moylan Jr.

As bullets flew past his head he calmly walked through the village taging any threat that moved. His bullets, rarely missing their mark.
He mythotically moved from side to side turnning ocassionally to view his rear. A bullet speeds toward his head he ducks, as if he can see the lethal projectiles deadly path.

Sol Dier a product of US military training exceled beyond anyones imagination quickly becoming the military's number one operative.
He managed every assignment with lightning speed and few if no civilian casualities. He was deemed the problem solver. Whenever National Security was in question Sol Dier was called on to create the right answers.

Chilling sketch....

Admittedly, at first glance, I wonder how to reconcile "tagging anything that moved" with "few civilian casualties".... If only it were that way.... the warriors (of their own free-will), settling their scores on mythical, detached battlefields....

Mnaz, See how it reads now.
And, have you noticed a play on word?

Play on word? Musta missed it, being half-asleep, as I was.

Are you perhaps talking about this (mythical?) soldier's name?..... Solo-man Dier, perhaps?.... That's what I saw, at least....

Well, after doing a bit of research I believe I have made up that word. I thought I heard it some where in the past.
Have you seen scenes in movies where one with power can move from side to side in a flash simular to moves in the movie Matrix. I believe those moves to be Mythotical. I still believe I have heard it used before but I would be happy If this word is my creation.
Mythotical, A myth-like action pertaining to fluid movement.
Unbelievable movement.

I think what you've heard people say is "methodical"...

But "mythotical" is what they should've said.

Thanks Marksman, I believe you have cleared that up. (Method)
And yes I do like my descriptive use better.

I am almost a half century old and all I've learned, seen and done is an entanglement of information inbedded within my ever growing and confused mind.

but I would be happy If this word is my creation.
I probably should not try to talk about serious stuff while I am in this condition but it has been a rough day so far. I have been conscious for over three hours on this un asked for day in paradise.

Have not done much I feel happy about, well talked to an old old old old old old old old old old old old old old old old friend friend fr
old old old old old old old old old old old old old old friend friend f
riend friend friend friend fiold old old old old old old old old old old old old old friend friend fr

yeah I kind of feel that way about The Matrix. I geen getting bored rreal quick lately with people shooting laser beams out of their eyeballs and shooting bolts of lightning out of their finger tips.

SO anyway I been thinking about what I have done to day so far with my three and a quater hours of unwanted unasked for conscousness. Have I remembered to be grateful for this life of mine. Yeah man, life is beautiful so far, and nuthing has hurt much, but of course i am one of the fortunate few.

I have not seen my shadow yet today

Then daniel took the harp and went high on the hill,

And he blew across the meadow like a whippoorwhill.

He played out his heart just the time to pass,

But as he looked to the ground, he noticed no shadow did he cast.

Repeat chorus

I tell ya Mr Ducky I have read stuff here and on that other place we spend so much time talking about here tha is much better than the shit I see on TV.

Yeah this is TV at its best on studio eight.

It is a good word Dick. I would also like to tell you that you have ruined a perfectly goood name for me Dick. I tried using richard head but even that got uncomfortable for me. I use putz or schmuck occaisonally but not too good with Yiddish. So now I been going with "pecker head" or peaker wood, or cracker head.

Well three mintutes I got till I have go to work for the yankee dollar. Looks like traffic is bad between here and there, I will probably be late again. Cause my there is my here too. and this place is chaos central, a lot of obstactles between here and here.

BK, Time fades into next. I cant say it blew me away, just fucked with my internal subjective time consciousness.

good word, mythodical, I like the slo mo things cause that is the way of the phenomenology of internal time time cosnsiousness. East and west leap frog to "alternity" i borrow stuff steal stuff all the time yabyum "knows the location of "crumbs of happiness" Benny walks around with "tented pants" it is like playing spit in the ocean here.

we would all have to be scholars using foot notes and ibids.

NOtes:

east west reference is to zen, and cecil's alternity.
