Yabyum in love?
Yabyum in love?
Is it possible? Perhaps I'll wake up and realize that, as I assumed, it is not possible for lighting to strike twice. For now though, I relish in warm rays recieved from her eyes. I have to thank StudioEight for being the catalyst. About a year or so ago, I wrote a little blurb about this girl, Tara, a month ago she googles her name and finds this web site, and ultimately......me. We were great friends ten years ago and lost touch. After we sent a few e mails we called on the phone. The first conversation lasted 11 hours. As hard as it is to believe, she was on a train from Jersey 4 days later. We spent two amazing weeks exploring the west coast and each other. It was so awsome to see her soul radiate when she finally reached the pacific ocean. A feeling I knew all too well. Unfortunately, responsibility and adult thinking forced her to return to Jersey. The good news is that she is only staying back east in order to gain her certified dental assistant degree (should take a month) and then we'll rent a u haul (first I have to take the train back there) and drive clear across the country where we will start a life, together. Kinda fuckin cool, huh? She is my opposite in all the right facets as well as my equal in the very same amounts. My use of profanity is eclipsed by her own. She is a painter, poetess, photographer and all around Jersey girl. We spent one entire night switching off reading aloud the novel 'dry' by Augusten Burroughs. That was one of the sexiest fuckin things I have ever experienced with a woman. Her eyes are ocean, her hair is raven and long as the sun is hot. I am smitten. But like I said.........I am dreaming. I have to be.
Besides that.....BRING ON THE MOTHA FUCKIN CABARADIO BEOTCH!
I'm all over that like a fat kid on a cupcake. Hope everyone is doing well. I have been completely disconnected these past months. Got rid of internet/cable/phone. To many god damned distractions and bill paying. I read the USA Today from time to time, but am ultimatley just sick of it all and need a break from all the terrible, terrible things happening in the world right now.
Oh yeah, I got fired from my job too. No worries. I found another one just about an hour ago. There seems to be a demand for line cooks out here. Fuck, I sure miss swinging a hammer though.

I love this story! Who knew Studio Eight would inadvertently become matchmakers. Glad you found each other!
Thank you, Yabyum, for sending me some photos of you and Tara. Tara does some really cool effects with photographs!
Here's a "digital pencil" image of Yabyum and Tara.

And yeah!... Let's do the Cabaradio Fringe!...

Three cheers for love. May it last a lifetime and beyond.
I'm a romantic of the sappiest kind. All the best Yabby. The love horse is one horse you gotta keep getting back on, because let's face it, the ride is definitely worth the occasional fall. Yes? No? Maybe? I say a resounding...
YES!!!

hey, thanks for all the comments. I agree with you, Mousey, It's worth getting back on the horse. It took me almost four years to get back up, but this ride seems to have been worth the wait.
I just finished reading Celestine Prophecy and fully agree that there are no such things as a coincidence.

is a coincidence anything like an accident, . But I sure do believe in accidents. Both kinds, preventable and unpreventable.
A bus load of true beleivers goes off a mountain in Tennessee. A lot of souls on board. many depart. The locals are repulsed at the joy of the survivors. They saw it as a waste of life. I forget what the cause of the wreck was except I am sure it was pur infinite capicity for stupidity that our highty intelligently designed minds are capable of. Bad breaks, too fast, wrong road, fall asleep at the wheel. Yep all part of the butterfly effect. even so I am still got a ways to ge before I get to the post I want to kick up to someone's attention.
good thread mars
maybe this will make it to 36 pages like the perpetual jam

I think I would like to leave this one on top.
its a fucked up world yabby
an old sick pessimistic jew said "happiness in work and love, it dont get no better than that he also said where ever he went a poet had been there first.
keep the bears off your ass and the bugs off your glass
Poor diana moon she too dumb to live. She thinks you are boiling in a pot lobsters and you be walking in tall cotton. Just don't know what to do with all this energy except write. Call it accident or coincidence, how about serendipity, not sure about spelling but i think it means happy accident, then I heard the word happy is for the icelandic word for lucky.
thanks for all the crumbs of happiness that have fallen through your the cracks in your mind.
