Break the fucking chairs!
break em and throw em in the fire
laugh on the log
the heat brings you
close to the woods
deep in the woods
the bugs stay away
and the rage
burns your throat like whiskey
A child walks the highway
and watches the trucks roll by
...and thats is it...
laugh on the log

I read it Geoff, I think it is perfect.
Truckers nightmare I awoke from, I was stopped at a traffic light, there were hundreds of small children everywhere, running under the truck in front of the truck, I was frozen with fear, no way I could move, I woke up so greatful it was a nightmare.
so much for rambling, got to go back to work, I am late again.
is "thats is it" a typo? seems like it
Nightmare image for me. I have always seen a death's head over a river of taillights headed into a setting sun. Dublin California 1981,the first time I saw it looking west towards a skull cap of light from the distant city.A child walks the highway
and watches the trucks roll by
...and thats is it...

I agree...I think it's perfect and is "thats" a typo? I love when perfection has room for typos.

I think it was perfect because it was short. I never say anything ironic.
Did you know the bible is perdect. No errors there.
Death behind the wheel of a million trucks and cars
Hell on earth is eight lanes of tracffic bumper to bumper moving fast.
And you tell me there is no God?
Here among The Things of The New World, where The Trickster rules.
The white faced God is ovethrown
Human sacrifice is back in style
just thought I would goof around with it geoff
I been reconsidering getting published. I think I will take more care with what I write.
four thirty am, The Southern Pacific has come and gone
The trash truck is here beeping as it backs up, the slam and bang of dumpster dumped
Here comes the Southern Pacific again, don't you love the Doppler effect? The distant horn, the low rumble, louder louder.
The floor is shaking now.
The day is shot to hell again.
Maybe not?
Today is the day I make something of it.
I have turned into such a simple old fool
I just want to loaf around heaven all day and breathe.
I been missing Z the W. He has such thin skin. I wonder if I have offended him again?
Do you have drawers full of finished manucsripts, do you think nothing stinks like a pile of unpublished works. Do you read the obituaries of famous authors and compare the age of their first success with your age to see if you are ahead or behind.
Aint vanity and envy grand, or is it greeen?
keep on writing
I read it over a couple times
for what it is worth
What got dam chance do we have?
Stuff like this below just knocks me for a loop. Makes me want to check out every word. I want to Lay my words down the the way a stone mason works.
First post today Geoff. Shit two posts today. Cigarettes were not as hard to quit as studio eight.
Original Meanings of Words
"HENRY CRAIK (1805-1866) in his little work on the Hebrew language gives a few apt illustrations of the original meanings of Hebrew words. "It has been well observed," he says, "that the original notions inherent in the Hebrew words serve to picture forth with remarkable distinctness the mental qualities which they designate. Thus, for instance, the usual term for 'meek' is derived from a root which signifies to afflict. The usual term for 'wicked' comes from a root that expresses the notion of restlessness. A 'sinner' is one who misses the mark. To 'delight' in anything is literally to bend down towards it. The 'law' is that which indicates the mind of God. 'Righteousness' is that which is perfectly straight. 'Truth' is that which is firm. 'Vanity' being a sign of irritated feeling. To 'trust' is to take shelter under, or to lean upon, or to cast oneself on. To 'judge' is radically [as to its root meaning] to smooth or make equal."

Return
smash the tables
burn the windows
melt the pot
and suddenly everything is a drug reference again
gonna get stoned
and build a picnic bench
for dinner
and throw ten sheets to the wind
hanging out my back window
screaming at the sky
hoping anybody dies
seal the pillbox this time, mate
i've had enough to eat
and now it's time for the watch the grasshoppers crossing the street.

and knowing i'm so eager to fight cant make letting me in any easier.
