God may drive a Cadillac, but Jesus drove a Honda.
I can't recall the exact book chapter verse, but it says something to the effect that Jesus and his apostles were "in one Accord" - Marksman45

Hi Deb - I know. Quiet. Some lucky people must have a real life. Others must must be blogging or hanging out on other boards or playing online games or somethin'. Where'd I come from? Well most recently, from the bedroom where I was lying in bed doing nothing but staring at the newly painted walls wondering which pictures to hang. Before that, I was sleeping. Yeah, iblieve emailed me about the jam this weekend. I suggested he announce it here but I haven't checked to see if he did it yet. I hope to stop by too. And yes, you can pm over there just like here. It's the same type of software.

Correct term is "Shaker hood", why shaker ?
You may now counter sue. Not my car , got the
image from google .

I can only dream of owning such a car. :(

Mopar collectibles prices have sky rocketed into
the six figure range for a mint HEMI car .
Buying one would bring me up to my blue collar
in debts.

Hey, LR. I'm up to four now! That's one ten-thousandth. Is there a booby prize for me!? Wink. Hey, btw, LR, when we did that TV thing a few years back and I stayed at your place you had two friends up from Texas who both gave me a cd they had made. One was titled Buddha Lounge but I don't remember your friends name. I play that cd every morning now for the last few months as part of my routine before I go out for the day. I was wondering if you could put me in touch with him so I could see if he has made any more cd's. I absolutely love it. It is perfect post (or pre ) meditation music. Any help you could afford me would be really appreciated. He was the taller of the two you had visiting, the quieter one, not the one with the full beard who was always cracking. (He still cracks me up when I thinkk of him!).

Thanks brother,

lenny

Hey Lenny!

That was Dan Degrado
http://www.burnttwinkeemusic.com/bio-dan.htm

You can hopefully find contact info on that page or do a google search for his name ... there are many other pages on the net which feature him. If you can't find his email address, let me know and I'll get in touch with Stupid Bob aka Rene Lawrence and see if he has contact info for you. I love his music! He was great!

We're doing another Cabaradio show this summer... last 2 days in July... as part of the first Capital Fringe festival. (see the announcements forum) ... Interested in helping out? I'm not sure if we have a poetry spot left at this point but it's possible! The show is getting full already and we only recently started planning it. We do definitely need stagehand help and other types of help to pull this thing off and you're a gem! You were so helpful last time you joined us and we'd be honored if you're available this time, too. Stupid Bob will be here again. ;) And we've got dancers, stand-up comics and some other fun stuff lined up. We'd love it if you could be here! Send me a pm or I'll send you one soon!

This is a Hemi car:
http://img98.imageshack.us/img98/3364/c ... trtfro.jpg

It,s equiped with one of those:
http://img98.imageshack.us/img98/7561/426hemi8vt.jpg

A 426 cubic inch engine block with Hemispheric combustion chamber , and a cross ram intake (m1).
Or you can add any go fast goodies on it ,whatever
your pocket book will allow.

Any car that was originally equiped with a HEMI
block(a.k.a:elephant block ,cause it's huge!) is a HEMI car.If you want to know if a car has a hemi engine ;
Look at the valve cover , if the spark plug
wires run trought it , it's a Hemi.

##Thank you very much, Doreen. I'm going to L.A. in either the last week of July or the first week of August. I'm not sure yet but will let you know as soon as I know. I would love to help. It was fun last time just being there, with or without a poetry spot. Take care and be well.

You are so religious Lenny. But you are probably right I suppose. We dam sure deserve George W Bush. And we probably need him too. I don't post anywhere but here. This is about all the excitement I can stand

##Hello there, stilltrucking. I am a little baffled as to your somewhat cryptic post here. I'm not sure how you equate my quote with being 'so religious.' I'm also not sure if the Bush comment is sincerity or sarcasm? But the most bafflng part of your post is why you felt compelled to tell me that you don't post anywhere but here in context with the rest of your post? Anyway, these things just crossed my mind.

Take care,

lenny

that line about the question being not why but where you post. I see nothing cryptic about my post.. Economy of effort or maybe I am just confused trying to reply to two strings on general with one post.

I think your tag line is a very Hindu concept. No accidents, nothing random about our fate.
