I Am

Post by lenny » April 21st, 2006, 12:15 pm

I am the eternal
twilight observer
of day's antics,
night's dreams, maker
of both sides, taker
of no sides.

Unfettered by duality,
beyond cause and effect,
action and reaction.

I am the sphere
behind joy and sorrow,
pleasure and pain,
life and death;

the void between thought,
the pause between breath,
the space between atoms.

I am the ether,
unseen and unknown,
seeing all, knowing all,
permeating all;

the cosmic stage
where light and shadow dance
their delusive two step
but leave no prints.
