What are you saying?
Do we have to listen to you?
What are you playing?
Do we have to join in with you?
You never tell us what we need to know,
you just tell us our trust must go
with you.
Sun is shining,
heats the earth as it hits the ground.
Earth’s declining.
Waters rise and forests fall down.
This world isn’t such a mystery
it’s paradise that should not be
be abused.
People yearning,
don’t know what it is they desire.
Buildings burning,
no one’s coming to quench the fire.
If everyone would turn away from greed,
become aware how much we need
the world.
We must cease to be consumer slaves
and work as one to try to save
the world.
To friendship,
Michael

nice tune Michael
It reminded me of this tune with the same name
this was recorded a few months ago by The Angelbull Band
Save The World
written by Joey 'Badmouth' Lemming
The Angelbull Band is the first band I ever played with 35 years ago

LR, I like Angel Bull’s “Save The World” almost as much as I like mine. No, just kidding. Same message, same title, different ambiance.
You see, according to Arcadia, my ambiance is early freakin’ Beatles. McCartney looked like a girl back then and hadn’t even met Linda who died and McCartney’s remarried. And let’s not forget John and George, but do try to forget Ringo.
Yes, Arcadia, you’re right. I sat there in front of the TV and watched The Beatles on Ed Sullivan. I really mean that, too. I watched The Beatles. Couldn’t hear a damn thing they were singing. That pissed me off, too. I wasn’t much into screaming for the Lads from Liverpool.
I thank both of you for your kind words.
I thought that the songs I posted today were the last that I was putting on my CD, “Flameland”, but a member of The Mount Diablo Peace Center always signs her messages with “Peace Is Possible” and I suddenly started to hum a little reggae thing using that hook. So, I may be adding a fifteenth song to “Flameland”. It’ll be for sale at the same price I’ve been selling my other discs for. This one is my best so far and that’s not hard to believe as I know my mixing software much better now. Like, we’re on a first name basis now.
To friendship,
Michael

wow, powerful sintesis! but why forget Ringo?. He's sweet singing some beatles songs and old/old songs (I mean songs from before the fifties, he did an album with oolllddd songs that I liked very much, but I don't remember the title now).
saludos & good luck with the album,
Arcadia

I think I understand you about Ringo. I was way into my thirties when the Beatles came to town. It one world view of mine the Beatles saved my baby sister's life.
I think I am feeling like John Reed these days. These are times that are shaking the music industry. Musicians of the world unite.
I finally got moved into my new crib and got the speakers hooked up.
Thanks for the music.
