first time

Post by creativesoul » April 22nd, 2006, 6:26 am

rich people have family crests
in my family, where the family crest means very little to a punker filmaker, and a generation x business man, when things got a little rough, my son s and i would naturally be unable to find matches or a lighter, and one by one would line up near the toaster
to light a fucking cigarette
i had to laugh at the procession
tonight
i saw you again
the last time i saw you. you kept positioning yourself
in my path
so i would have to look you in the eye
testing my hunger
i had to ignore you
the man i wanted more than any other
the first time i saw you your back was to me
but i felt you from far away
and had seen you before

i could not figure you out
so i brought my friend to check you out at a gathering of various people
my judgement is somewhat impaired when it comes to what i feel is love and attraction
how rare

she said"he s a city boy, and knows nothing about ceremony"
"he sucks his gut in every time you walk by"

my friends have to see these things
i am blinded by a feeling
a connection
but tonight
i was surrounded by the women
and you rumbled through me looking at me
like a herd of buffalo
my heart was a drum
beating so fast
i wanted to cover my face
pink and flushed and naked
i had to pretend i did not care
yeah sure!
tonight i pray for the kindness in the world to come to my heart
that the transformation of love be a gift i can give
as well as recieve
i know you are a man my sons would love
i need that
besides being a man that i could love
it has to work
the wolf went out into the woods with a chicken
fear is conquered
it s appetite satisfied
i believe in love
i believe in art and hope and beauty
i cleared the way
i am ready for you
the truth has been told
i am sure that this will unfold the way it is supposed to
this evening i am forced to aknowledge my defects
and my assets
the places i have been trace a dusty road to you

We all have internal clocks, does a woman's tick louder?

How babies are born.

She was in her late twenties

Her mother was constant pressure for a grand child

She picked him out of a crowd because he had an inky dinky butt and his pants drooped. She thought he was cute.

I really loved this one creative, please pardon unrelated ramble, I just love to ramble.

I dont mean nothing
thanks

time is like a seamless glass window which sometimes makes it difficult to see which direction you are looking forwards backwards
here there
i feel the water
rippling
hey what is with the broken corona? no lime?

i used to want a family crest--to come from a family that didn't worry about paying bills.

now i drive everywhere, even when the gas prcies are high. i'm a vegetarian and pay out the butt for organic produce. i bought sneakers that cost an embarrassingly lot of money--and i dont' wear them much because i already have other sneakers.

the family crest i found is ugly. i need to forget what it looks like so i don't dwell on it when i should be looking for the first time on the backs of the people i will love one day.
