Prana

Post by lenny » April 24th, 2006, 12:06 pm

Energy, all pervading force,
breath of Brahma*,
comprises all things.
Vibrations, it's ordainded blueprint.

Slow vibrations - gross matter, density;
quickened vibrations - ethereal substance, thought.
One energ, myriad vibrations, vast spectrum.

Body, mind, soul - slow, quicker, quickest.
Red, blue, violet - activity, peace, realization.

Enter pranayam*, myriad vibrations merge.
No quick, no slow - cessation of all vibrations.
The Great Vibrations becomes
the Blissful Vibrationless.

*Brahma - God
*Pranayam - life force, or energy control to achieve stillness.

Enjoyed the read, lenny.

Is true stillness attainable?

Or pure "rapture"? Going past God for God?

Thank you, and absolutely yes. Although I would not call it going past God for God. It is more like going past the creation to get to the Creator - a vast difference. God exists as both the vibratory 'Mother' of creation and also the great vibrationless and 'uncreated Father'. Creation needs thought to comprehend itself because thought itself is created and therefore vibratory, but the sphere beyond thought - omnipresence - is already all things and need not convey itself to what it already is anyway. In the created worlds we have 'separateness'. In the sphere beyond creation - God, the Absolute - there is no separateness or lack of knowing of anything. I hope I didn't garble that too badly. Oft' times these things are difficult to speak of because of the simple fact that the cup (created) cannot hold the ocean (uncreated and vast.)

Be well,
