Neil Young recorded “Living With War” because he was angry that no one was writing music that spoke out against the “war” in Iraq. Even though I don’t possess the distinction and renown of Neil Young, “Flamelamd” is my donation to the effort he is talking about.

I wrote an essay called “Where Are the Rest of the Jean Rohes” that speaks to the apathy that I hope ”Flamelamd” will affect.

Music played a major part in bringing an end to the Vietnam War.

Radio played a large part in getting that music listened to, Michael. This goes back to the Dixie Chicks thread on Culture. This new paradigm of how music gets heard and distributed on the Internet gives me hope.

Thanks for the free music. It is about the only kind I can afford these days.
