wires in the earth, in the sand,
through sand, over sand,
a stone's throw from sand,
criscrossed on sanded miles of sand,
neatly rippled golden sand,
after the big blow, nary a whisper,
like lust upon wires,
like digital heartburn,
or wires in the earth,
in the sand,
through sand,
over sand.
sand and wires
raining electrons,
and expensive wires,
and expensive images,
and weather systems amok,
and whole bi-polar problems,
diametrically-opposed, in legend.
here's the thing...
if you thought to dig the trenches
around the earth, at your own rich expense,
and thought to bury thought-control therein,
then why shouldn't you make a decent profit?
and why not wire the elections as well?
makes perfect sense to me,
and i'm not even from that class.
