Statements like "I don't have the time," are absurd. It takes time just to speak those 5 words... time that you could use to stop. Think about when you said those five words... you had taken a pause, three seconds, maybe? How fast do you talk? In the speed zone it has to be fast... let's say two seconds, if you want to be understood. The point being, when you're on this train enjoy the scenery passing by.
What's passing you by is Nature. Nature is seasonal. She has 4 periods. She has different climates to give home to diversity. Nature is living, providing, giving of many things... all of it, actually. And we run her short in our rush to the "Land of Milk & Honey."
On this train we wish we could get 'there' quicker, so we could find time to relax, pause, enjoy the stillness, fine tune into the environment. That's where we've been going... to the zone - the ultimate destination... and the journey is one of wonder and mystery, the performance of duality, on the universal stage.
That "Dreamland" is right here... now. All around. Our cities are huge, but nature is vast. Sustaining life upon one particular planet in our solar system, one mote of indifference to the universe, life is able to survive. Sustained by a fire 93 million miles away, the elements are able to 'come to life'... any closer and it would be too hot... any further it would be too cold. Life requires a balance to survive, to thrive. Life gives birth to awareness - it is only our decision to wake up, and our perceptions will follow.
(We are the spiral of spirit uncorking the wine of the divine... intoxicated with joy, celebrating the moment, gifting ourselves with Love. United in one orgasm, surrendered to the waves of being, we desire Love to explode into the sea of consciousness and float upon our rafts of knowing, 'til we reach the shores of return.)
Upon a planet that is able to have 4 seasons to maintain and restore itself. Rotation, the right temperature in the cosmic oven, slowly nuturing the soup of life. It has gone on for all eternity. Some form of life, the electrical shock upon infinity on a subatomic form... Atom was born. The Greeks suggested that the something out there eventually comes down to one - atom, indivisible. Science cannot split something that is not divisible. Sure science split this atomic structure that they gave the name atom to, but the idea, the initial thought of atom - the singular entity that ties life together into what it is.
Everything we know that has life within it is an atomic structure vibrating in a harmony of billions and billions like particles, assembled into all forms and shapes, matter of every conceivable and inconceivable 'thing'! Pure energy, chi, charging the 'threads' to tie all life together into a cohesive unit that supports itself... a space terrarium that can only survive as it has due to it's distance from its sun.

Hearth Earth - where we all hang around and reproduce

... and humans do it at any cost, even if other humans are in the way! We are hurrying to catch up with the hurry. We all have an obligation to perform... not just we humans - the animals of the earth, the birds, the insects, the multitude of life below the waters, all assemblages of atoms driven by the 'energy strips' of the physical world.
Now, physics is figuring out that inside the atom, inside the proton and neutron, the photon and muton, (don't for get the futon!), there are 'threads' that are moving in accordance with the winds of electrical energy. Nobody can see these threads, but mathematically they exist. I don't know what that means tho... if it exists within numbers, does it have matter that can be seen, felt, touched..? Will we ever be able to see 'the threads' or will they remain a theory? It doesn't really matter to Life how anything views her,

life is a cocoon for consciousness

hanging in space, a gestation period for Life. Life is gestation, under its blanket of ozone, it continues to yin and yang. It must to survive.

___________

Question asked: "And what are you, my friend, upon this stage of life?"
Reply questioned: "Upon the stage, or in a stage?"
Answer offered: "Why, my friend, it's all a stage and we are performing for our necessity to survive."
Opinion retorted: "Stage-shmage... it all just life. There is no purpose, we just are... a cosmic joke!"
"If there is a god, he must be an amusing one! This Life thing is absurd! We think we have so much control over ourselves, but we are just playing with the mind... an act so we may participate - join in the festivities. Choosing between one or the other... I'd rather accept both as one and the same." Thinker just had to say...

___________

And so it goes... the mind questioning and answering, questioning and answering, if not an answer certainly an opinion. But the answer has to be felt rather than just reasoned. That feeling is called an epiphany, or a moment of realization - having the answer course thru the veins, lighting up the spirit. Within those moments, where the answer is felt, experienced, but has no words that adequately describe that moment, as well it should - those moments are the most personal of moments that defy description... describe your orgasm and you miss the reality of the the experience. Words cage the freedom of the moment of realization into syllables and markings... a vocal sketch of the experience, some more adept than others, but the communication is insistent! The epiphany has to be shared, with one or many, that moment of union with bliss is the answer to everything. A moment with eternity is a moment forever alive.

between words the
answer awaits the
winged messenger
from the
Holy Silence
speaking in light,
illuminating existence
with rays of awareness,
reflecting the
path to Nirvana

The void is the womb of existence, and within existence all life is gestating towards its moment of birth into the sea of pure consciousness where all is Now - without beginning, without ending.

An Astrological Note: On July 4, 2006, Mercury, the cosmic magician, turns retrograde in Leo, the sign of the Lion, sending communications, travel, appointments, mail and the www into a general snarlup! This awkward period begins a few days before the actual turning point (as Mercury slows) and lasts for three weeks or so, until July 29, when the Winged Messenger reaches his direct station. At this time he halts and begins his return to direct motion through the zodiac.
Everything finally straightens out on August 12, 2006, as he passes the point where he first turned retrograde. Mercury turns retrograde three times a year, as a rule, but the effects of each period differ, according to the sign in which it happens. (http://www.astrologycom.com/mercret.html)

. Here and there provides the trip. Gotta remember that.mtmynd wrote:Nature is living, providing, giving of many things... all of it, actually. And we run her short in our rush to the "Land of Milk & Honey."
Reminiscent of my first trip to the Southwest, when Vegas blew minds, but paled next to the Grand Canyon...Our cities are huge, but nature is vast.
Miracle, it is.Sustaining life upon one particular planet in our solar system, one mote of indifference to the universe, life is able to survive. Sustained by a fire 93 million miles away, the elements are able to 'come to life'... any closer and it would be too hot... any further it would be too cold.
Well now, I just really enjoy that.(We are the spiral of spirit uncorking the wine of the divine...
In the neighborhood of God, here.... Back in the day, the local church interpreted the singular entity as "either in or out"the initial thought of atom - the singular entity that ties life together into what it is.
That would be my take on it."If there is a god, he must be an amusing one! This Life thing is absurd!

I seem to be turning retrograde in Leo, myself. What a coincidence....
I hope so.Everything finally straightens out on August 12, 2006, as he passes the point where he first turned retrograde.
Sorry to "chop up" your writing, Cecil.... just so many things that hit me....
artguy - how long... how long... how long to experience. this longing is the heart of being, opening each pore of existence to the wonder of life... one moment each time... one longs to belong before one knows we all be-long, belonging at last... without ending.
Arcadia! Gracias mi amiga, otra vez y para vida completa, gracias a usted!
mnaz... no need to express any sorrow, my friend, for I enjoyed your expressions as they were... making me smile as you felt them. thank you!
