You're on the other side of the room.
I'm in the corner reading a book.
Occationally, I sit the book down,
I raise my head, giving you another look.

You see me look,
but make nothing of it.
I want to walk up to you,
and my love for you, I want to admit.

It's all fantasty,
and nothing seems real.
I wish that this could be easy,
but that wasn't the deal.
It was the dance that lasted a lifetime, but ended in an eye-blink.
