Malthus and raspberries

Post by mnaz » August 5th, 2006, 4:30 pm

I hear a toddler scream next door, repeatedly.
I hear a precious new life wail, repeatedly,
continuously, day after day,
despite every advantage of love,
despite his easy-livin' summer.
I hear how he wails, despite easy-livin'.
If I were Malthus, I'd inquire if the rock could take much more of this...
yet another ungrateful resource-sucker and shit-disturber.
But I'm not Malthus.
and the raspberries are out.

"puckish" my ass! sorry, I couldn't resist!

I love this read...right up my berry picking/eating alley

you made me google Malthus...ahhhhhhh...enlightenment

well done...and humourous...always a good combo!

the title grabbed me right away...titles are important to lure.
I used to walk with my head in the clouds but I kept getting struck by lightning!
Now my head twitches and I drool alot. Anonymouse
