no, I think my title to the post in the trailerpark may have been misleading.... I titled it, "the day before my birthday"... but I was referring to the link I posted.
The day before my fiftieth birthday, we went up to NYC and stayed at the Algonquin where we gathered around Dorothy Parker's round table and then went to the Back Fence in the Village and performed our poetry with other LitKickers.... it was a blast!
The link on the trailerpark takes you to a write-up of the event and some photos.
You are very kind, A-One! What a nice gesture to create that image for me and to say such nice things about me!
I was born in 1953. July 21st.
I tell people I was born in 1965.
Next year, I'll tell them I was born in 1967.
Why not? If I can fool them, I can fool ME, too, right?
Age is only chronology.
Again, thanks so much.... we're going out soon for Thanksgiving... I am thankful for you and everyone here!
I get so mushy during the holidays.... *sigh*... but I mean it!
