I got to get over it one day I know, but it still spooks me the number of people who think that way. I read an essay by Chiaromonte called The Jesuit. It was written about the Church and Facism in Italy during the thirties and forties. He was pretty optimistic that the Church could not survive its embrace of facism. But it just transmorgified into Neo-Facism acorrding to him.
