between the russian
mafia and a rogue chinese
general who plot to
undermine american power
around the globe.
so who are the villains?
the interviewer did not ask.
the book is called
dragon fire.
the secretary of defense in
the story is killed by anthrax.
the former secretary of defense
lives on in his fantasy
to be
tom clancy.

Secretary of Defense.... what a joke. It used to be called the War Department, didn't it? If there's any killin' to be done, then by God we should be the ones doin' it, and not all those evil poor folk....
